ABOUT ME
Long story short : my home country is South-West France, then I worked for a year in Atlanta, GA, and then now back to Europe in Germany, then to Mulhouse where I work for my phD.
I really enjoy discovering new persons and new cultures ( I know, a lot of people here do too ;) ), and I am very easy to live with, always ready to go, anything, everywhere.
Current dreams :
-Go to burning man
-Go on a Yoga retreat
-Visit Italy (I keep on finding info and photos about Cinque Terre, and now I am obsessed about going there)
-Learn German
This profile is a constant work in progress, I was really puzzled the first time I had to fill it, but now that I experienced a little more the system, I added a lot of little things everywhere. I have the feeling I am changing a lot through my travelling experiences so I try to keep this up to date with my latest findings and discoveries. If you have any questions of course don't hesitate :)
PHILOSOPHY
No regrets and live to the fullest ! Adventure is everywhere, you just have to find it.
I try to find wisdom everywhere I go, and I always listen what people have to say (but will I agree... making your own opinion is VERY important to me), that's how my education was done ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I try to be the most reliable person possible, because I know the last thing you want while travelling is somebody who lets you down !
And I try to keep the couchsuring spirit alive, which is not an easy task if you read the messages that I recieve....
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Well, my first two CS experiences lead to the best week ends I had ever spent. Coincidence ? I made instant friends, I was able to be the perfect tourist during the day and perfect party girl during the night, I was able to talk to people with a really open heart... And I keep in touch with all these amazing people !
In Atlanta, I have met several people that made my life amazing by showing me the town, the places they love, or just by discovering new places with me !
Before I left ATL, I also went to a couple CS meetups and it was amazing to discover newcomers and locals at the same time... I wished I went to these meetings earlier !
Interests
My main hobbies are photography, painting (watercolors), cooking, reading, going to the cinema, hiking (I really enjoy nature), following Curiosity on mars, reading in the sun...
I can basically be interested in many things, with a special attraction to things I don't know but which people are fond of !
Oh, and did I mention cooking ? Everything food related *_*
This year in the US has brought me more on the healthier side, I started a new workout called Piloxing, a little Zumba, and Yoga (my favorite at the moment). I really love the philosophy of Yoga and I really feel it's bringing me something for both the mind and the body.

Music, Movies, and Books
All Jane Austen's, I read everything she wrote. And I must admit I am a big fan of Pixar ! Currently into "Game of Thrones" series.
Just read the Perks of being a wallflower, and The great Gatsby.
I belong to those people who say "the book is way better than the movie"~
And randomly but very important :
Forever in love with Oscar Wilde and Voltaire.
Roy Lichtenstein (I went to his retrospective in Chicago and was literally dying of happiness)
Haruki Murakami
J. M. W. Turner is my favourite artist. In the last James Bond, Bond and Q meet for the first time in front of my favourite painting of him and I almost had a heart attack.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have seen the Amazon Rainforest in French Guyana, with those blue "Morpho" butterflies flying... Just pure beauty. That was really incredible and I could feel (and see) how fragile the earth can be...
I started my life from zero when I went to the US, and this is the most meaningful thing I have done so far (I still remember that feeling in the plane when I just left)...
I went on a road trip with an amazing friend and I felt incredibly free...
I went to live in a country without knowing a word of the language.
Teach, Learn, Share
I really like learning new languages so If you are interested in teaching me something in exchange of some French (and France) knowledge, just let me know !
I also got two years of wine tasting in France, so if you love wine I'll be very happy to show you how to appreciate wine to the fullest !
