We are two students in Montreal, who are trying to travel together as much as possible. Mathilde is now studying anthropology and Evelyne is studying international law. We both have travelled in a few country, but now in Japan, this is our second trip together. After an incredible experience in Europe, we've decided to discover a country with a very different culture than ours and we chose Japan.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

We decided to go on Couchsurfing, because we are convinced that it is the best way to learn a new culture. Sharing the same living space with Japanese would allow us to discover the food, the habits, the language, etc. Since we are not looking to do a very touristic trip in hotels, Couchsurfing is an amazing option.

兴趣

As for Mathilde, she loves to read, to take photographs and to dance. She worked for years in a dance studio and also won a couple photograph contest.

As for Evelyne, her biggest interest is to read, but she also loves to listen to music and watch movies. She also loves to learn new languages.

As for music, we both love alternative music and rock. We listen a lot to Radiohead, Chet Faker and Coldplay for example.

As for movies, the favorite movie of Mathilde and Evelyne is Avatar.

We would love to learn Japanese as much as possible during our trip, since we want to come back to Montreal after a month and be able to speak a little bit of the language in the country we just visited. Also, we would appreciate teaching French or English to someone who is interested in our culture. In fact, we would like to share our languages and our culture with a Japanese.
