Hey! My name is Mathilde, I am 25 years old and I am from France. I grew up in a lovely town in the French Alps called Annecy. I love skiing, hiking, runing and outdoor activities in general. I also love reading and going to the cinema. I am pretty laid back, not a party girl.
I love travelling of course, I've been to many places around Europe, the USA and recently central america. I have also lived and travelled in Australia and New Zealand.
I just moved to Paris and I am keen to meet people as I don't know anybody here !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first signed in on couchsurfing 3 years ago, when I moved to Australia. I didn't want to end up with french people in a hostel, thought it would be way nicer to be hosted by real aussie ! I loved the experience and then started hosting myself which I loved even more!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a massive Beatles fan, they are definitely my favorite band and I listen to them all the time. I love Indie and old rock'n'roll most, but also enjoy jazz, pop and latin music. I listen to anything except rap music which I can't stand.
I love going to the cinema and watching movies.
I read a lot and I read any kind of book, as long as it hooks me in the first chapter ! My favorite author is Francis Scott Fitzgerald.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing to the top of Acatenango volcano in Guatemala, get an amazing view of the erupting Fuego volcano, and spending the night there, looking at the eruptions and the lava flows. Best experience ever.

I don't have any amazing skill :) I can teach a bit of French maybe.
I want to learn German and/or Spanish !
