About Me

Hi there =)
I am an openminded person who wants to explore the world and collect new expierences.
I love getting to know new people.

Without music, life would be a mistake. - Friedrich Nietzsche
Music has been really important for me since I was little. I've startet to compose music and I love to improvise on the piano. (I am also interested in other forms of art like painting, acting and writing altough I would not describe them as my passions.) Being able to perform my own music is my big dream.

I worked with disabled people for about two years. This taught me, that although we all can seem extremly different from another, we are all great human beings. Seeing a man express happiness, even though he could literally just move his left arm little, has been one of the most beautifull expierences I've had.

Things I don't like:
-I usually like it when there are many people and the atmosphere is lively. However, when it's getting very
noisy I tend to take a break and go for a quick walk. I like going out, but I prefer the more quiet bars.
-I do not have any allergies, but I like to eat healthy food most of the time. So I probably won't join eating Fast
Food too often.

Things I like:
- I like to learn new things. If you are a fan of playing card games or board games, you have found a gaming-partner.
And I am always open for a spontanous music session.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In short - I want to meet new and different people to broaden my horizon.

The longer explanation:
Imagine you want to make a trustable survey to check if a medicament has any bad sideeffects. You than have to test the medicament on many different individuals. You need both genders, people with different ages, etc. . This makes certain, that the conclusion of your survey is reliable. Surveys with only a small and not divers pool are not trustable.
We often make important decisions in life but have only a very small pool of people who we take advice from (parents, close friends). Compare this to a survey that test a medicament only on seven people - that is not trustable. If we want to make good decisions in life, we need a big and diverse pool of people with different opinions - just like a good survey. =)

I want to get to know you and many other different people. We can learn so much from each other and thereby broaden our horizon. That helps not getting stuck. Unlike in a video game, we all have only one live ^^ - and I want to fill it with many different experiences.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you how to:
-play the piano. Beginning from the simple basics to more advanced topics.
-improvise music on the piano. This is my greatest hobby and I would love to share my knowledge to you. =)
-apply different learning techniques. I'm not an expert but I am really interested in the topic and have read
some books about it. That helped me tremendously with studying.
-I know actually a lot about chess and the asian game of Go

I am always open to learn:
-playing the guitar or any other instrument.
-how to cook better. I started to cook for myself but that needs improvement.
-dance with a partner. I really suck at it but want to learn it.
-parcour techniques. I've started with it a while ago and I am still a novice. But it is so cool.
