ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Matilde but everybody calls me Mati! I´m 27 years old. I'm a Spanish girl who lives in Madrid. I've studied "Public Management and Administration" in the Malaga´s University (UMA). I studied my last year of university in Italy with the Erasmus program, it was an amazing and important experience for me. I lived a few years away from home, three years in Málaga (Spain), one in Bari (Italy), one in Dublin (Ireland) and two in Madrid!

I'm friendly, easy-going, adventurer, and especially affectionate and smiling!!

I think that, although life is hard, with positivity, daily effort and a smile you can get everything you propose! Enjoy the little things!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to do this! I think that is a special kind of travel, my favourite!
I like the way you can know things that you would never discover by yourself as a tourist and how locals live. And the most important, I love meeting people, sharing experiences and I think each person has something different to teach you.

Interests

I studied nine years of piano before University.
I like nature, films, music, to read and I really love travelling!
My last hobby is the photography! I´m learnig about it and I really enjoy it!

I like all kind of music!

My favorite film is "Life Is Beautiful" by Roberto Benigni. I love as well "Forrest Gump", "Schindler's List" or "Saving Private Ryan".

My favorite books are written by Agatha Christie and Carlos Ruiz Zafón.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Be volunteer in Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Ireland (SBHI). You can't explain the beautiful feeling you have when you are the cause of make someone happy.

Rafting, hidrospeed, mountain hiking, snowshoeing, mountain orientation, kayaking, paintball, skiing and easy rappelling... All of them were crazy fun!!

Visiting 7 cities, 5 countries, in 14 days by train with an InterRail ticket! Sleep on the street with only a sleeping-bag a rainy day!

Travelling without any sigle planning!

Travel to Auschwitz Concentration Camp in Poland.
