I am a qigong instructor and software developer. Yes I know, its quite a combo, but they go together quite well, I have discovered over the years :)

I chose to study software engineering because I am a very mental, structured person, that enjoys spending time in his imaginary world more than in the real one. So, software engineering was a perfect fit, I found it amusing and interesting right from the beginning.

And the Qigong instructor part, came from a deep need of finding a deeper purpose to life. I did not know I wanted Qigong until I found it, started learning and practicing, and in doing so found exactly what I have been searching for since I am 10 or so. So today, in addition to my personal practice and study, I share my path with others, since its something I found remarkably useful and healing at many different levels, and I am sure there are other people just like me that need what I have to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because, since I am very introverted, I find it difficult to make friends and socialize, and couchsurfing provides me with the perfect excuse to meet other people and go out to explore new places.

I love scifi/fantasy movies: The Matrix, Lord of the Rings, Back to the future, most Marvel movies... I do not watch a lot of tv or movies though.

Books? I do not read a lot, but I read the "Eragon" series and loved it!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share philosophy about qigong, healing and buddhism. And of course teach qigong :) I am not a very talkative person, but if you bring up interesting topics, be prepared because I can get very passionate (in a good way)
