About Me

ABOUT US

We are Al, from San Carlos (Uruguay), and Mati, from Bariloche, two old souls walking back home, we will be grateful to share our path with whomever the universe puts in front of us.

Currently it's not very likely we will be hosting people, but we are happy to share some time and show people around our local favourites spots, share some moments in nature, hikes or going camping.

PHILOSOPHY

“It's not about the destiny it's about the journey”

I will not stop searching, that's my philosophy. I won’t stop or settle for the daily routine, always preferring the good to know. There is never a destination because the trip itself is the place I go, based on that there is nothing more important or enriching than contact with people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The most of the time when traveling I don’t like to do the typical hostel touristy things - rather I look for a truly genuine cultural experience. I believe one must live and get to know the locals of wherever they are traveling to. Locals can show a side of the target destination that no guidebook or website can.

I believe tourism is more to get to know how different kind of people live instead of going to the main square and taking photos or doing tours. CS is a nice way to get to the locals and find out their kind of living.
