Hello, my name is Matouš Bahensky , but because of the fact that many internation people cannot pronaunce my first name right just call me Mates.
I am easy going energetic person who likes meeting new people and adventures. I am up to do almost anything. I am sportsman. I have been doing wild water slalom for many years until I have started studying in Denmark in 2014. During the summers I am rafting guide ( the one who is on the back of the raft and going down wild water rivers with tourists). Now Im ful time traveler almost for one year. I am very talkative person who like to share my stories and experience with others. Many my friends are telling me that Im crazy because of the way im living ( I have big issue, I cannot stay at one place for long time ), but I like it. I do not know if its a problem or advantage but ussualy I am saying everything what I am thinking and I am expecting it also from the other people. So please if something bothering you do not be ashamed and say it, people are different, and there is nothing wrong about it. That is why we are traveling or no? :-) I think this is more less the basic about me.

Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is one great opportunity for all travelers who do not like to just walk in same paths that many people, tourist, had walked before. It is about meeting the persons and the culture of exact state more deeper, I prefer to sleep on the couch or floor in and share an experiences, then to be in 5 star hotel with spa. I like this way of traveling. So this opportunity to live and meet many many different people from all around the world, and get in touch with them, it is amazing. I think I did not exactly answer the question. Im here because I think that every new person that you meet with every country you visit is leaving some new experinecne in you and you are becaming better person. That is why I am here, to be better person and understeand people and myself more.

How i mention before, I really like traveling and meeting new people. I have been doing wild water all my live so this is probably more way of living then interest but i will mention it here aswell :-). I am working during the summers like a rafting guide in slovinia. This job is my interest aswell because it including almost all of the things that I like. I am in the nature, going down the wild water, meeting new people, and believe me when you have 8 people in front of you who are sitting for the first time on raft it is really adrenaline to go down the white water river :-)
I like food to try new different tastes.

I think, there are many crazy that I have done, but I will not mention it here because it would be one less topic to talk about with guests or hosts :-).

I do not know what exactly I can teach people, but definitely I can tell them many things about the places that I have been living, habbits of the people, nature. I would like to learn from the people something about them and get new experiences in anything that they can offer :-). I do not mind sharing almost everything and if I dont like something I have no problem to say it.

I can share my experiences regarding wild water, mountain rescue, and many stories from this background. I can tell people a lot about Czech Republic. And of course my experience about living in Denmark.
