About Me
Hi! My name is Matilda. I'm originally from France but I partly grew up in Kentucky (US), and now I am currently studying for my bachelor's in Amsterdam. I can host around 2 people comfortably, but if you don't mind sleeping on the floor, then you're welcome to.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to meet and interact with new, different people, I'd love to hear stories from around the world, and I figured that anyone who would be on couchsurfing anyway is worth meeting and hosting because they have the spirit of adventure :)
Interests
I love cinema, drawing, painting, photography, philosophy, playing music. I'm also super engaged politically, and love to meet new radical people and ideas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I haven't traveled on my own a lot (after all, I'm only 19), but I have hiked in Scotland for 8 days with a friend this summer. We walked for 152 kilometers and slept in nature, it was really cool. I'm planning on taking a gap year/gap years after I finish Uni, and hopefully I'll just spend that time backpacking on my own and meeting lots of people and places around the world :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm super interested in philosophy and engaged politically. One of the rules I like to live by is to be as open-minded and self-critical as I can be.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my passion for cooking (I'm vegan btw) and a bit of conversation :). I think it really depends on the period of the year when you would be coming. I'm a student so there are times when I can't do much...
