Music, Movies, and Books
I'm always interested in discovering new music, movies, books, artists and while travelling i've got so many nice recommendations from different people.
I love the 60s and 70s, like the Kinks, Doors, Beatles, Peter Greens Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd. But new artists as well, Tame Impala, Mac de Marco, Arctic Monkeys, Kurt Vile, Devendra Banhart, Warpaint, La Femme. And when we go out dancing, we often go to electronic clubs.
Movies: Jim Jarmusch, Wes Anderson, Xavier Dolan ... and old french films
Books: Hermann Hesse, Salinger, The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, The Dharma Bums by Kerouac, Fabian by Kästner, ...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I love how music can connect you magically. I was couchsurfing in Yogyakarta and my host brought me to his friends family house to hang out. His friends couldn't speak english at all and my indonesian was very poor as well. But they started jamming on guitar and gamalan (a traditional instrument) and played "hey jude" from the Beatles. It was heavy rain outside, we sat on the terasse with tea and tempeh and i felt so happy in this moment, having these nice people around me, not able to have a deep conversation, but to share this feeling when it comes to music.
Teach, Learn, Share
My partytrick is moving my eyebrows or pupils in strange directions. Maybe i can try to share that skill with you.
And since half a year i Play the accordeon - i would love to share music with you. If you play too we could exchange songs (thats the way i learn it)
