I don't really like to describe myself, it's easier to answer questions. And a self-image is never completely true. Who I am is subjective, but my name is Matilda, I live in a commune/collective in the outskirts of Malmö, southern Sweden. We are six people in our collective Prydesholm. I spend my days with my friends and I take a class in creative writing. When I need extra money I work as a mailman.
I enjoy playing music (sing, guitar, little bit of piano), spending time in our garden, sewing, politic events (I'm a member of Swedens left/socialist-party), concerts, food, the outdoors, and meeting new people. 🙂
I used to study international relations, so I am interested in global politics and other cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting new people. And this June I have some freetime, but my friends are working. So, I want to travel, via interrail, but I will do it on my own. I thought Couchsurfing would be a great way to meet people even though I'm traveling alone. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love alot of music. Everything from Nina Simone to Manu Chao. Genres I like is soul, jazz, reggae, SKA, punkrock, indie rock/pop... I have been a singer in a punkrock band, metal band, stoner rock band. I enjoy singing jazz and blues as well. :)
