My name is Matilde, I’m 20 and I’m from Bologna, Italy. I graduated in a linguistic high school on July 2016, then I took a gap year and I traveled in Europe and North America til September 2017, when I came back home and started the university. Now I’m on my second year of University here in Bologna and I’m studying foreign linguistics and literatures in Italian, English and German. During my gap year I experienced CS and I really enjoyed it, I’ve been hosted by several hosts in Ireland, USA and Canada, and I’ve met many young guys and girls from all over the world, it’s been amazing! When I was traveling and hosted I did a promise and now I’m here to keep it: hosting back!! :) I’m very busy because I work and study, so short stays and during weekends are the best, but feel free to write me and ask any dates!
I live with my mother and little sister, who is 10 yrs old, and we have one cat and one dog, who stay most of the time outside but can come in, so you’ve better not be afraid of animals (they’re lovely I swear!). As host I can show you the city centre and some nice place around Bologna, my city might not be as big as NYC but I can tell you there’s really a lot to discover, visit and appreciate, you just need good advices where to go and I can give it to you! Also I’ll try to host you when I have time to spend time with you, but if you prefer to go around alone no problem, we’ll share a good Italian dinner!
I don’t have a guest room but I do have a very big and comfortable couch which is perfect also for two persons.

I experienced cs by myself in USA and Canada as traveler and since I really enjoyed it now that I returned back home after my gap year I'd love to be a host, hosting someone back and try to do my best to show them my city and make them feel as comfortable as I felt! I’m very busy because I’m working and studying at the university therefore I can only host you for few days, I don’t know when I’ll be able to host you or not, just try to ask me and I’ll tell you if I can or not :)

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Going faster than 110 km/h with the ski and galloping with an amazing horse on the beach while the sun was going down. Wonderful!
And now I'd add taking my gap year and having all the beautiful experiences I had, including cs.

Like a student I'm trying to learn as many new things as possible and I'm curious about almost everything. I'm also a easy going and happy person who would enjoy spending a dinner together. If you're interested in it I can show you my city, tell you something about our history, show you some special and not turistic spot and cook some Italian meals for you!

My languages' knowledge, my travel experiences and some Italian meals! I also enjoy spend time with the host and going out for a walk or in a bar, but I don't mind if you can't, I'm very flexible and indipendent. And maybe I can host you when I'll be back in Italy :)
