About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel around the world, especially in Africa and in the United States

ABOUT ME

I'm 26. I'm now living in Monteriggioni (Siena), a very small village in Tuscany, in the hills of Chianti area.
In the past year I have lived in Kenya (Nairobi) doing my year of voluntary service with an Italian NGO who deals with street children, HIV-positive mothers, disabled children and needy people coming from a slum.

I like to spend my time reading, playing with children, playing football, visiting cities and places I've never seen, travelling, deepening my knowledge about world and other countries.

I'm really keen on all that concerns international cooperation, fair trade, development of Third World countries and the world of the humanitarian aid: I would like to learn something more about this topic, so I really enjoy talking with people that share this passion with me and that can teach me something about that!
..But in general I like to talk about everything with other people!

PHILOSOPHY

"I should like to help everyone if possible, Jew, gentile, black man, white. We all want to help one another, human beings are like that. We all want to live by each other's happiness, not by each other's misery. We don't want to hate and despise one another. In this world there is room for everyone and the good earth is rich and can provide for everyone..." (Charlie Chaplin, "The Great Dictator")

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted many many people at my home in Tuscany (Siena) with my sister and my parents. We've spent a lot of time with people from different countries.
I've been hosted by many people in Italy, USA and Spain, I had a full couchsurfing experience in the South of Spain for 17 days in 2015: the perfect travel =)
