i've couchsurfed in germany, ireland, austria, and the u.s. and hosted in my hometown cincinnati. more people need to visit cincinnati -- i'm happy to host and my city is horribly underrated.

books: the curious incident of the dog in the night-time, a tree grows in brooklyn, the unbearable lightness of being, siddhartha, the bell jar, revolutionary road, harry potter, no one belongs here more than you, this is where i leave you, and anything by tom robbins.

music: everything cincinnati's music scene has to offer the world + superchunk, lagrecia, none more black, the thermals, stornoway, american war, fionn regan, pheramones, the sidekicks, dillinger four, andrew bird, the kinks, guided by voices, etc...

movies: in bruges, the one i love, the theory of everything, heathers, take this waltz. most things with mark duplass or kate winslet. i love judd apatow.

tv: the x-files, parks and rec, 30 rock, new girl, laverne and shirley, perfect strangers, three's company, the it crowd, and dawson's creek.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

six months of physical therapy to re-teach my dog how to walk after her spine was severed from her pelvis, and most of my experiences in europe.
