About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My dream right now is to practice medicine globally in countries or communities that need help. I just finished my first year of med school...so I have time.

ABOUT ME

I'm a positive and laid-back person that wants to laugh whenever possible. I hate small talk that's used to pass the time--I want to get to know you the person.

PHILOSOPHY

Go with the flow. Roll with the punches. Be true to who you are, and understand that whoever YOU are is a dynamic and beautiful creation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed for a bit when I was backpacking in South America, but the truth is that I wish I did more!

Interests

I love to play and write music (piano and guitar), read, run, and explore (the world as well as myself). I love connecting with people, I love learning, I love living.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I just finished On the Road by Jack Kerouac. It's feeding my travel bug!
Other than that, I love History of Love, The Perks to Being a Wallflower, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, Catch-22, Everything is Illuminated, East of Eden, and The Alchemist.

Music: Explosions in the Sky, Iron and Wine, Bon Iver, Florence and the Machine, Alabama Shakes, The National, The Black Keys.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed a 6000 m (almost 20000 foot) mountain in Bolivia during my four month backpacking trip in South America.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to teach you how to play piano or guitar! I live in a commune of sorts where we cook for each other every night, so I've gotten pretty creative with my recipes. Some even turn out alright! I would love to share recipes! I would also love to be a running buddy, book/music exchanger, and a Hebrew/Spanish (I'm pretty bad) tutor.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Mexico, Netherlands, Peru, Poland, Switzerland, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In

Israel, United States
