About Me

I believe myself to be an outgoing, friendly and easy-going person. Hospitable and sociable I surrond myself with friends from all over the world. As a friend of mine once said: "You could even make friends with a cactus in the desert". I am half French, half English, therefore since birth I have been exposed to different cultures, languages and traditions. My hometown Perpignan, France is close to the Spanish/French border I therefore have a strong appreciation of the Catalunyian culture and language. Above all I really like bringing people together, whoever, wherever and whenever.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling is what I do best and love most. I travel as much as possible with the intention of discovering other countries' culture, traditions, and mentality. And what better way to do so than by getting to know the people from the countries I visit. Thisis why couchsurfing appeals to me immensly. Travelling should be made easier and more accessible and more about learning and getting to know the country and its people. By making connections with people we build bridges between countries. Networking is key and of course, one can never have too many friends!

Interests

As mentioned above, travelling and making friends! My interests also include rugby (sport in general) , cooking, listening and discovering music. I appreciate design, the arts (I am part of an improv theatre group in Paris). History and journalism are also passions of mine. I feel that it is important to inform people on current affairs in a way that is accessible to the many.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've gave language courses in English and Spanish so I can teach languages.

I love to learn new languages and things in general.

I can share many things as stories or grandma's tricks if you're sick !
