ABOUT ME

I'm a guy who loves everything weird and quirky, and anything involving noodles or sushi :) (though these things are also usually weird and/or quirky by default) That's why I also love traveling. And not only love but also loöoöOööøove traveling. I think my personality is best described as a large orange blob of confusion, and I wouldn't want to change that for anything in the world, except maybe a pony. I sometimes sneeze very loudly.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in Poland, London, Brussels and Denver, hosted and went out for a coffee AND a drink in Slovenia and London and went out for a drink without any coffee in Budapest plus a small bunch of quirky CS events in London. 'twas all lovely ^^

Interests

Elbows, rum, triple integrals, taking care of nosebleeds, REVOLUTION!, commas, laz0rs, things not quite as long as a baguette but still much longer than a pen, badgers, years 1576 and 1579, lack of pants, shrubberies, Times New Roman, fluffiness, energy transport by convection in the outer layers of the Sun, nonsense, London, none of the above, all of the above.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'd love to read more books, because I find time for them only quite rarely. I like weird movies and actually anything that has a "this is definitely not from Hollywood" vibe (Libyan porn excluded).
Music is DA TING as far as I'm concerned. Favourite genres include world music, e.g. klezmer, tango, ethno, Balkan, also classic rock, mosh music (metal, punk, ska), and basically everything not too mtv-ish. I own a Fender strat and can even play it a bit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I nearly fell off a cliff while riding a donkey in Greece once, but then I didn't. Hope that qualifies.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well if you ever wanted to know some weird Physics stuff I might be able to oblige, discussing this sort of thing while drunk is actually really fun :) I'm also reasonably skilled in balancing a spoon hanging from the tip of my nose and might be able to teach you the tricks of the trade. I like learning about cooking weird possibly local food and oh, I've been meaning to acquire some basic sewing skills for like a couple of years now but am unfortunately still a massive threat to humankind whenever I'm handed a sewing needle. So yeah, would still love to learn that :)
