We are 2 New Zealanders who are living in the UK. We've been here for almost 5 years and have a son, Robbie.

PHILOSOPHY

We are very laid back and not highly strung. We enjoy the lighter side of life and don't take ourselves too seriously.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have always made space and have been fortunate enough to have had our parents, friends, and friends of friends along with an assortment of Couchsurfers stay at various places over the last 8 years. Now we have moved to the quiet seaside town of Bexhill-on-Sea and look forward to meeting fellow couchsurfers here.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We had so many great people through Hanoi staying with us. Every visit was thoroughly entertaining in totally different ways. We eventually did some couchsurfing ourselves in Africa and France and that was lovely too. Our Parisian apartment was bite-sized so didn't get an opportunity to host any new couchsurfers but had an endless stream of friends, family and ex-couchsurfers through.

In no particular order; travel, languages, people's lives, minimalism, a few more isms, walking, reading, growing vegetables, debating the shit out of things, discovering new ways to exist.

In Hanoi, on 1 motorbike during a summer rush hour we had 7 shopping bags, 4 people and 1 dog!
