ABOUT ME

Hi!, I'm Matías, a 25 year old guy that loves traveling!. My first major trip was in 2007 when I spent a semester as an exchange student in the beautiful city of Querétaro in México, with fellow couch surfer Rodrigo Herrera! I had the chance to go to other cities in the country like Puerto Vallarta, Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende, and of course Mexico DF. It was quite an adventure and I met people from all over the world! Thus, my traveling spirit was born.
After smaller trips to Argentina and throughout Chile, I went to Andorra in december 2008 to work in a Ski center! It was quite physically demanding but very fulfilling, and after the season was over I got the chance to travel through Spain, I was in Barcelona, Zaragoza, Vitoria and San Sebastian, all beautiful cities!.
After that, In 2009 I took off to France where I first lived in Saint Omer, a small town in the north, where I finished my studies. Once I was done with that, I found an internship in Paris and spent some very interesting 8 months in the city of lights, that was quite an experience that I'd love to share with you over a glass of beer.
While studying, I spent some weekends in Amsterdam/Rotterdam and others in Brussells/Brugges, Wroclaw in Poland, etc. all great cities that I would love to visit again (specially Amsterdam, if you know what i mean :P)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm quite new at CouchSurfing actually, I got the reference from Rodrigo Herrera (can't remember his nickname here, have to check on it), i have hosted a few people back when I was in Paris and it was great! I hope I can continue doing so (it depends if I can convince my new roommate! lol).
I love the opportunity of meeting new people rom all over the world, so this is a welcomed experience for me

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only surfed a couch once and it was great, I wanna do it again! =)
I have an available couch nowadays and you´re welcome to stay

Intereses

My biggest passion is Music! I've been playing bass, guitar, drums and singing since i was about 13. I love playing in bands, going to concerts, discovering new bands and bringing the guitar to house parties and make everyone join in music. I'm quite a music nerd actually.
