Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have hosted several times now at our home and hosted a CS meetup in Ulverston with other local hosts, We have now surfed eight times in England, Israel, India and Jamaica.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have couch surfed in a few countries now and it's an experience that can not be beaten. it's amazing how generous and welcoming strangers can be.
When we can, we host here in the uk and hope this goes some way to replicate all the positive experiences we have had as surfers.

Interests

Music of varying genres, seeing the world, walking (ideally with our dogs), horse riding, canoe, pole art, photography, blogging, volunteering.

Music, Movies, and Books

we enjoy all 3 normally about travelling or places we have been or are going to, philosophical or dark things. Anything by danny boyle will be loved in this house and our computer has such a range of music we could keep most people happy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watched the Sunrise over the Thar, Rajasthan and then slept under the stars, Bathed in the waters of freezing Coniston, Cumbria, Losing the tourist trail at Petra, giving blood in Cambodia, walking in the rain in Angkor Wat, Surviving a car crash in Jamaica, Walking the streets of Cairo during the 2011 uprising, floating in the dead sea, seen fire flies in Malaysia, Seen the hope of humankind following the Asian Tsunami and seen a proper full Moon party at Aragum Bay, Visited an Empty Giza plateau and been inside the Pyramids. Walked the deserted streets of Jerusalem before traders arrive. Been stalked by a mad man in Bharatpur, an endless list.
