ABOUT ME

Translation student living between Berlin and Prague. 24 yo.

Currently embarking upon the last year of my MA translation studies in Prague while trying not to neglect my undergraduate studies of film and theatre, my work, my friends and my time consuming interests.

If I were to describe myself (which I apparently am now), I would say I have more ambitions and desires than the sense of reality allows. In spite of that, I'm easy-going (but can get angry with people I can't stand), easily adapting to any circumstances (but loving my own peace where things are as I want them to be), helpful (but selfish sometimes, as all of us), social (but need to spend time on my own, too) and always trying to improve myself (whatever that means) with my chronic laziness being an unwelcomed spoiler most of the time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed many times in many countries but never used my own account. Every time I couchsurfed I had a great time with amazing people (be it a crazy farmer near Barcelona or a group of medicine students in Zürich). Also, when living in a shared flat we used to host people quite a lot (both in Berlin and Prague) and always had a pleasurable, refreshing experience doing that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

uuuh hard to choose... one of the most recent ones was a three-week trip throughout Armenia, Georgia and Nagorno Karabach with locals giving us food, cognac, lifts and lodging all the way through, with amazing people crossing our way (army generals, hotel owners, priests...) and making the trip an unforgettable lifetime experience

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my travel experiences, my stories, my opinions (if you care), information about my country (Czech Republic), my city (Prague). I can also share a good recipe as cooking and eating play an important role in my life.)
