I'm originally from South Africa but I've been living in the US for a long time. I just moved out to San Francisco and I love the city. I'm a pretty relaxed and open minded guy. I like visual arts, cooking, and exploring nature. I studied biomedical engineering and french literature and work as a consultant as of now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I get a travel a bit for my job and I would love to see more of the world. Couchsurfing gives the the opportunity to not only see a place, but meet the people who live there and understand its culture. I enjoy experiencing new ideas and learning about the world.

Interests

Visual Arts, cooking, swimming in the ocean, coffee, and live music. I play violin and mandolin and used to like jamming with my friends, but haven't been able to lately.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I performed the entire dance to Beyoncé's Diva while in four in heels and full drag and was able to raise $200 in tips for a cancer fundraiser.

I can teach you how to play the violin, help you with your Afrikaans or French, share some of my recipes with you, and/or tell you folk stories.
