I'm a cheerful, friendly and respectful fella who loves exploring new places, hearing new music, going on hikes and playing trumpet. I've recently gotten engaged to my partner Freya.

I play in an Australian gypsy band called The Mouldy Lovers, and compose solo music with makeshift instruments in my spare time. You can find my stuff at youtube.com/user/mattdangerhsu

I also teach a course at university about the entertainment industries and am working on a PhD about folk music.
