As a very privileged human, I have a responsibility towards the less privileged. My lifestyle is tailored to maximise wellbeing and productivity and minimise pointless work and consumption. It's human nature to ignore the whole of which we as individuals, and as a species, are a part.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Most of my surfing was long before this web site or the word couchsurfing existed.
Found Americans very willing to look after a lost traveller. In less developed countries I have found the hospitality somewhat cloying. In the Balkans for example there was a well defined set of obligations defining the host/guest relationship.
