I like house, techno, New wave, chillwave, (any of the waves!), noiserock, shoegaze, punk rock, blues, and live jazz (I know some good spots in NYC for live jazz :)
Right now I'm reading "How Forests Think" and books on Buddhism.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm interested in external and internal travels. I'm working on a dissertation about political lobbying. I do a lot of camping and think that I'm more comfortable out of doors than indoors. I meditate, do yoga, and avoid drinking and drugs.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to bike ride around NYC. It's a great way to see new places. I also go canoeing, kayaking, and fishing by the city's beaches.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a clean, convenient apartment with a large sectional couch that sleeps 2. I have LOTS of local knowledge about NYC, having lived here for about 10 years. I often like traveling around the city with visitors because they sometimes show me new places I wouldn't normally go. It never gets old. I'll go to the top of the Empire State Building or to Times Square with you any time! Am willing to hang out with new people even if you don't stay over.
