Welcome fellow traveler,

My full name is Matthew John Gaeta, but people call me Matt..or Gaeta..I sometimes wish they'd call me Jack (doesn't Jack sound adventurous?).

I was born in Brooklyn and lived there for the better part of my childhood before the family moved out to the Forgotten Borough. Growing up in NYC set the foundation for multicultural leanings and a thirst for exploring where people come from, how they lived there, and what they brought along with them when they traveled "here".

In high school and college, I had several opportunities to live abroad. When I was a college student living in London and trekking as much of Europe as possible in a 6 month span I was changed forever. The kindess of strangers during my stay was at once the most surprising and the most encouraging revelations of my life.

I'm in my mid-twenties now, back in Brooklyn and settling in. I still travel any chance I get.

I'm also a Product Manager at a tech startup in Chelsea, NYC, have a college degree, like to drink, party, chill, read, watch movies, etc. Insert typical stuff human beings enjoy and I enjoy them for the most part as well.
