I recently started backpacking in Europe! It's taken me a while but I'm finally on the road, leaving my old life behind :D

I have had many experiences back home: touring in a band and working as a musician (one for love, the other for money), being self employed doing manual labour (a better job than people think) and going through commercial flight training and working as an instructor.

I travel to meet interesting people and share experiences, gain a broader perspective of things, and of course to have tons of fun!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I went to a Couchsurfers meet up in London just to socialise and meet people in a new city. It was an awesome night! So many cool people, with rich stories of travel and adventure, I figured being involved in the community is an exciting thing to do!

So far I have stayed with some family and friends in UK, as well as in hostels, where I've met so many people and made instant friendships. Meeting people so openly seems to be synonymous with travelling and to me it's easily the most interesting and rewarding part; the sights, sounds and attractions come second :)

I will return to Australia in December, but I want to continue travelling in the future and be involved in the travel adventures of others through hosting in my house in Melbourne when I get back!

Interessen

Playing/writing music, playing guitar and singing, experiencing and learning about other cultures, history and tradition. Socialising, meeting new people any chance I can get :)

I also enjoy spirited and deep discussions on whatever is close to peoples hearts, on their minds or in their lives. I feel like every individual has a unique and important perspective to share.

I like cooking too! I'm quite passionate about being vegan however I don't judge or shame, so chill out haha but seriously I love to cook for people

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music? Lot's of stuff, rock mostly, also singer-songwriter folky stuff. Funk, soul, pop, always keen to be introduced to new stuff!

I dig movies, as long as they're either funny, interesting and/or make you think about things more personal.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Flew a matchbox-with-wings halfway up the Australian east coast into really bad weather, it was the most afraid I've ever been in my life! Many lessons learned

I feel I have a lot to share, unique perspectives on things I believe very important to all of us.

I have a passion for teaching people things, hence I became a flight instructor and I used to teach guitar (always keen to help people out with their guitar skills!)

Lot's of music and singalongs, always keen to cook for people, large groups too. I'm willing to cook, clean or help with anything else that needs doing, I'm never one to take a free ride :)
