This profile is a combined one of a 25 year old Australian couple: Claire and Matt.

MISSION

To get out of the daily grind and live our lives fo the fullest by being open to new experiences, different cultures and making new friends.

ABOUT US

We met eachother a year and a half ago and both share the love of having fun, so we have set out into the wide blue yonder to do just that!

We are both learning Spanish and are both very keen to further expand our understanding of the language.

Claire loves to cook and Matt is a great little apprentice in the kitchen. We are both clean and tidy people and believe in being minimalistic. We have both lived in sharehouses for past 7+ years and understand the concept of mutual respect and working as a team to create a positive and enjoyable living environment.

HOW WE PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are always willing to lend a helping hand and chip in wherever we can.
As we have said, we love to cook and enjoy living in a tidy house so we will definitely pull our weight.

At home our doors are always open to travelling friends who feel like having a yarn or need a place to stay for as long as they need. We love the fresh faces coming through and are always keen to show them the local side of Brisbane.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Our experience through the Couchsurfing website is quite limited but we have had some great experiences with friends we have made overseas and friends of friends who have come to stay and live with us over the past couple of years. We love the concept of couch surfing, and feel it really fits in with what we are about.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Matt: I spent 12 months globetrotting over 2013-2014. I visited 18 countries, made countless friends and had too many amazing experiences to pick just one but again; more than happy to share stories over a few beers.

Claire: When I travelled parts of South East Asia with some of my best mates, met so many great people, and saw so many amazing things which is where my love to travel began.
