ABOUT ME

Hi I'm Matt and I am currently living in Spain as an English teacher in a Spanish public school. I love travelling and meeting new people. I'm a passionate person and I love what I do. I love learning what other people love and try to experience it for myself when I can. My goal is to try and make each day better than the last, and I think I have been pretty successful in doing that so far. I'm excited to see what's to come.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Because it is awesome, quite simply. Often times trips are defined more by the people you meet than the places you see and Couchsurfing is a great way to meet great people. Also, it brings the world right to my doorstep. Much cheaper

Interessen

Travelling is my favorite, but I also play basketball, football, ride my bike and sail. Mountain climbing is a new hobby and is one I will continue I like to cook and read a good book and am always up for just a good old-fashioned discussion. I think we have a lot to learn from each other and try to do so whenever possible. It's hard to find something I don't like or won't try, especially if it's with an interesting person, because that's ultimately what counts the most.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I went to Alaska, U.S.A. in February to participate in a climate change research project where we had to take measurements in -40 degree weather. Not sure if that's amazing or just stupid haha.
