Hello! My name is Matt! I am a geology student from Minnesota. I've recently started traveling more frequently. I am currently participating in a travel program with my University where I travel Europe and work on an independent project. I am falling in love with travel and I'm excited to do more as soon as I can! After I graduate college, I want to take on a year of travel, see amazing places, work in unique environments, and discover different ways living of life.

Many people have referred me to Couchsurfing. I just recently met an American who's been traveling around the world. She said Couchsurfing was a wonderful way to meet other travelers and like-minded people who want to learn and hear about the travels of others and I thought I would give it a go!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my expierences, stories, tips, time, and knowledge. As I geologist, I can share my knowledge of Earth processes, structure, theories, and I can even do some rock/mineral identification for anyone curious about rocks they have collected. I can answer questions about climate change to the best of my knowledge. I can also offer my time for sharing stories or give my hosts a helping hand while I stay with them. I am fairly tech savvy as well and earned a diploma in computer networking while I attended high school and can help anyone with coumputer/technology issues they may have!
