Why hello there! I'm Matt. I recently graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Vocal Performance (opera). I'm currently studying to get my real estate license and hope to start work soon. But until then, I'm going to couch surf and live while I'm young. :)

I'm a night owl.

I don't drink or smoke. I don't mind if people drink, and I enjoy going out to clubs. However, if someone lights up, I will not hesitate to make obnoxious hacking noises. Nights in are also nice.

I've visited Mexico, Hawaii, Reno, Las Vegas, Tucson (ick), Houston, Seattle and a bunch of cities in California.

By the by, I'm gay. If that's an issue, blow me.

Up until now, I've avoided visiting places until someone I knew moved there. But I think it's time I grow up and start sleeping in strangers' apartments!

I've wanted to travel more, but I want to keep overhead costs low and meet some amazing people while I'm at it.

I love singing, obviously. I also LOVE to cook and LOVE to eat. If you feed me or tell me where the delicious food in your neighborhood is, we will be friends forever.

I love languages, etymology, words, pronunciation, dialects, etc.

I LOVE to laugh. Outrageous, bawdy, intellectual humor gets me going.

Music - Anything really. Not a huge rock fan.
My two favorite vocalists of all time are Joan Sutherland (Australian opera singer) and Karen Carpenter (if you don't know her, I WILL make you listen to her soothing vocals.)

Movies - Smart comedies, documentaries, movies with interesting plots.

Books - The Phantom Tollbooth. Does that mean I haven't read a novel since age 13? Perhaps. I like articles, newspapers, etc.

I was visiting Seattle, it was my first time ice skating, and I managed to break all three bones that make up my right ankle. I'm talented.
