I grew up in the UK but have lived in Canada for the last 11 years. I was living in Vancouver until recently but moved to Whistler in December 2014 for the snowboarding season after quitting my job to start my own business. I'm a keen snowboarder (hence the move to Whistler) and love being around the mountains in winter and summer.

As of June 2015 I'm moving on from Whistler (though hoping to make it back here for next winter!) and will be a bit of a nomad for a while so won't be able to host for a while.

I'm planning on travelling later in the year after the snowboarding season is over and it would be great to find some couches to crash on. Since I have a place in Whistler at the moment I figured I can start building up some couch karma now by hosting a few people here when I don't have friends visiting. Plus, I enjoy meeting new people and it's always good to find new boarding buddies to hit the mountain with.

I'm a good snowboarder and know the mountains here pretty well (been coming up from Vancouver every winter for the last 11 years) so I can show people around the mountains and maybe offer some snowboarding tips too.
