Hey guys, I'm 24 and I'm from the UK, Ipswich to be specific, no one's really heard of it, you're not missing out! I'm currently travelling around Australia for a year, I've done Sydney and my next stop is Melbourne. If I was to ask my friends to describe me, they'd all say I'm chilled out, good humour and easy to get on with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The countless websites I've trawled through all say that one of the best ways to experience a country is to mingle with the locals, as they know great places off the beaten track. As much as I'd like to see the main tourist attractions, a hidden little beach is just as good :)

Interests

I love Asian culture, it's so captivating and different to the Western world. I love travelling and I love immersing myself in a variety of cultures. I'm a keen sportsman and will try any sport. Football or soccer is the main sport in my life along with badminton and dodgeball :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all different types of music, soundtracks, main stream music, local bands etc. I'm a big fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, e.g. Iron Man, Capt. America, Thor, Avengers etc, I also like the Hunger Games and LOTR/The Hobbit, coincidentally, my favourite books are the Hunger Games, LOTR and The Hobbit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I couldn't possibly choose one amazing thing that I've done in my life. Instead I'll compile a list of unforgettable moments:

1) Seeing the Taj Mahal at sunset
2) Swimming with dolphins in Florida
3) Watching the Sydney fireworks, something I've wanted to see for a long time
4) Travelling through India
5) Seeing the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong
6) Witnessing the mighty Niagara Falls on the Maid in the Mist
