Heeelllo!

I first went travelling when I was 14 on a trip to Thailand with my mum. Every since we went up and stayed with the tribal people in the hills of north Thailand, I've had the travel bug.
The year after I moved to Sweden to do an exchange year, as I couldn't wait to finish school to start travelling so I decided to mix the two.
As soon as high school was finished for me I put a bed in the back of my car and never looked back, travelling to all different parts of Australia.
Now 7 years out of high school Ive travelled through over 20 countries and counting. My philosophy is we cannot fix the world until we meet the world, so I am out on a journey to do just that. I love to meet local people and experience local life, to understand culture and customs,
I am very happy and very open minded person who just loves to be apart of a community, in doing this I love making small families of friends everywhere I go.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel that couch surfing is a beautiful way to meet real local people who I can learn local culture and customs from. Also coach surfing offers to build good friendships around the world and then in turn when I stop travelling (if I stop) I will be able to return the favour by hosting on my couch and spare beds.

Music - Xavier Rudd and all folk, blues and grass roots music. Im a huge fan of all music really. Minus metal music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a helicopter ride to stand in front of New Zealands biggest glaciers and watched over 150 small waterfalls flowing down into the valley. It was such a magical and energy filled space that I become lost for words and the sheer size and beauty of this nature in front of me brought me to tears.

Teach, Learn, Share

My thirst for knowledge cannot be quenched from weird an whacky facts to great philosophical problems I love to share about it all !!

I love to learn language and traditional cultural activities especially food based.

I love history and always want to learn more history.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer hosts fun, as I am a people person who loves to chat and enjoy others company. I can also cook quite well and love to cook for my hosts. I can trade stories about the world, and also help out wherever needed in the house.
