After meeting some people who had some incredible couchsurfing experiences, I realized what I've been missing out on! I've been living in Sichuan for a while now, and the majority of that has been in Chengdu. I'm pretty familiar with most of the tourist sites in the city and within the province, and if I don't know it, i probably know someone who does! I've been learning Mandarin for a couple of years, and I really enjoy living here. Spicy food is my absolute favorite. My job allows me to have some nice time off in the winter and summer, so travel is a must. I have found that my "bucket list" tends to get longer rather than shorter every time I travel, which must be a good thing!

Living in a foreign country has taught me a lot about the benefits of learning about other cultures and people, and I hope to be able to continue learning from others!
