Hoi 🙂 the names Matt. Im a 26 year old lawyer living in Amsterdam, however, Im originally from Sydney. I am very sociable and outgoing and there is never a lapse in conversation if you are with me. I have been told by others than I'm funny and have a kind nature, and most importantly I like to take every day as it comes. I love learning languages and all different aspects of culture; every time i travel I try and learn the native language of wherever I am travelling to (I've attempted anything from Polish to Albanian). I'm respectful of other people as well as their homes, making sure to keep tidy and clean up after myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about this app from some travel buddies and I think it is such an amazing idea which definitely made my travels so much more enjoyable last time around. I hope to find people to stay with for a few days as I'm traveling, as well as to meet new people and share experiences!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacked around Europe for 6 months by myself, it was a very liberating experience and I met some amazing and generous people along the way who made my trip amazing. I achieved so much it would be hard to pinpoint one amazing thing I've done.
