Overview
About Me
Just a traveler looking for adventures in the world; hoping to learn new things, meet new people, and have amazing experiences. I'm not really into the guided-tour, gift shop side of things so much as discovering places by accident or, best of all, with the help of local friends.
I love the outdoors, pretty much any activity outside. I enjoy reading, playing guitar, and trying new foods (and drinks) that are as close to representative of a new place as possible, among many other things.
The best friends in my life by far are the ones I've made while travelling -- that either says something about the world or something about me. Either way, I'm happy with it.

Music, Movies, and Books
Alternative, indie folk, blues, jazz, R&B, and rock music as well as other styles. Some of my favorite bands/singers include Augustana, Breaking Benjamin, Highly Suspect, the Lumineers, John Mayer, Hozier, Kaleo, Ed Sheeran, BANKS and so many more.
I've played guitar for several years now and I love it. I used to play some piano years ago too, but I have since forgotten it.
All good movies, with a special spot in my heart for historical dramas/adventure. TV shows: ah, Vikings! Peaky Blinders, Homeland, the Office (of course), Stranger Things, Fauda, and a few more.
Hemingway books, Fitzgerald, Julian Barnes, Orwell, Remarque, Bulgakov, Nietzsche, lots of classics, lots of history books, and more and more non-fiction.
Currently reading Homer.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Started college as an undergrad when I was 16. Is that amazing?
Started a new life as a writer and English language teacher in Budapest, Hungary. Loving every minute of it.
Teach, Learn, Share
Can help with English or German language (probably you can help me more) as well as a few words in Hungarian. I can teach guitar, share good conversation and laughter, be a good pub mate, share sightseeing and adventures and experiences.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Friendly conversation, eagerness to learn and experience, help with cooking (I'm no chef, but I can cook a few edible things), play cards!
