Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm taking a five week trip to Europe followed by two weeks in Costa Rica. I'm on a budget and want to meet locals and fellow travelers. So, I'll be staying away from hotels and crashing on couches and hostel dorm beds. Time to get out of my American bubble!

I recently bought my first overseas plane ticket (to London) and got my first tattoo in the same day.

I'm a diehard Chicago Cubs fan. I realized after planning my trip that I booked it during the entire post-season. I'm slightly worried I'm going to miss their first World Series title 107 years.

I studied Spanish in high school, but I'm not fluent. I have Google Translate for the rest :)
