About Me
CURRENT MISSION:
Toast life before I'm Toast
ABOUT ME
My position in the family food chain – the third of four boisterous boys – has made me pretty well attuned to the rough and tumble of travel. We're all pretty consumed by wanderlust so have had some great trips together and some best forgotten...
I'd like to say I'm a social, easy-going person, who always looks to extract the funny side out of most situations.
I studied languages and literature at university because I'm all about meeting new people from different places and experiencing different walks of life. I've been lucky enough to have lived in Argentina, France and Spain for extended periods.
PHILOSOPHY
Not one for confining myself to mantras but - "As soon as you trust yourself, you will know how to live" - squares with couch surfing , something all about trusting in other people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've hosted quite a few couchsurfers with my flatmates at Oxford over the last 4 years and and have really liked meeting every person who has stayed with us. They seemed to have enjoyed seeing the city from a student's perspective -sharing our vision of what studying is about.
Had the pleasure of surfing some buena onda with some great people in America del Sur a couple of years ago - everyone was always so welcoming, treating me like we were all hermanitos - which is what CS is all about for me.
Interests
I'm in to people, places, sports, reading, rock climbing, writing, acting, swim, sunshine and travel - anything that brings the people together// shows me new ways of thinking
I'm happiest when making a fool of myself with friends or new acquaintances.
Enjoy teaching languages, have been lucky enough to do this for some great people in 3 different continents now!

Music, Movies, and Books
Always looking for new inspiration, enjoy reading, watching, listening to whatever people throw at me, books wise i'm been into some pretty random periods and specialised in spanish mysticism when i was at uni - some wild colourful poetry, songs and styles coming out of that;
// interested in theatre a lot too, quite like tragedy and tragic writing in general but not impartial to a bit of a boring old book to send me to sleep now and then
--->>> spend too much time watching the same films and then quoting them, so need to start branching out, watched a lot of spanish, french films of the past, starting to think slow pace and rhythm best way to transport yourself out of real life into the film itself - that's what i thought last time i watched il padrino...

What I Can Share with Hosts
Now living with my brothers in a breezy old warehouse on the south side of london bridge - where they used to put heads of traitors on spikes apparently - so yeh! best to make some new history together than dwell on the past..
Nice green spaces around there, some historic food and drink markets, great gin bar round the corner, some quirky galleries and pretty good buzz in general for meeting people, going out and about.
Come and check it and we'll see the sights
