Overview
About Me
I'm an easy going school worker with a bit of an obsession with theatre (never really a couple of weeks from sitting in an auditorium).
I studied Chemistry at Bristol University and then refused to leave the city as I loved it so much. I have been here for almost 10 years now and don't see myself leaving any time soon.
I enjoy going to the theatre, pub quizzes, board games, baking, cooking and Bruce Springsteen.
I go rock climbing when I find the time and am always willing to try different extreme stunts (having bungeed and jumped off the Sky Tower in Auckland I am looking at skydiving next).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like meeting new people and making new friends with a variety of people and whilst I haven't surfed myself yet I am interested in doing so as it'll allow me to see more of the world without breaking the bank from hotel fees.

Music, Movies, and Books
Bruce Springsteen and Country music make up the majority of my iPod library.
I tend to prefer comedy films as I find them easier to watch, but I do like some more dramatic ones. My favourite film from last year was Boyhood. Any film with LGBT interest I am likely to give a go.
I have a pile of books that I need to get round to reading, but finding the time can be hard. When I did read more regularly I was making my way through Ben Elton's back catalogue. I enjoyed (not really the correct word) the 'Child Called It' book series by Dave Pelzer, so I guess I like books about true stories.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have bungee jumped off Auckland Harbour Bridge in New Zealand
Teach, Learn, Share
I have seen a ridiculous number of theatre productions, I could talk about them for hours (but I try not to)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like cooking, so I can probably whip a few different meals
