Hello world! My name is Matt... I am a native New Yorker who has been living in Glasgow, Scotland for the past three years. I am an Actor/Director/Writer who has just recently graduated with a BA from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. I am truly passionate about travel and have many friendships with people from around the world, and that's just the way I like it! I am keen to continue to learn about this crazy planet and the amazing people who live here.

I love learning about different cultures and I believe that travel is a way to unite people during crazy times in the world. I have been lucky enough to participate in several international theatre festivals, one in Germany, one in Italy, and one here in Scotland and these festivals have had a huge role in shaping how I view travel and art.

I have lived in Glasgow for the past three years and I have loved every minute of it. The Scottish people are incredibly welcoming (and hilarious) and I am so grateful to have called this beautiful place my home for the past few years. If you can swing it, come to Scotland... it's amazing! I will be moving back to New York this coming September.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I have had many friends who have used couch surfing and swear that it is the absolute best way to travel. Whenever I go anywhere I always prefer to learn about the place from the people, not from some guide book at the airport. I enjoy meeting with locals who are able to able to show you the true heart of the city. As soon as I am in position to do so, I will gladly return the favour to people here!
