About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Just have fun worth my free time.

ABOUT ME

I like to be outside and to be having fun. I feel better when I am about to go outside and in nature. I don't want to drive by and take a picture, I want to explore and experience and share it with others.

PHILOSOPHY

I just would like to teach people while having fun being themselves through adventure and games.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm currently working at a place that has me out of canoe trips fairly often but when I'm home its always fun to host some surfers passing through. I'm a big fan of North Bay and like to show it off. Come for a visit in Early July and see the swarms of shadflies. Some say its disgusting others, like me, think its an incredible phenom of nature, even if it is a stinky one.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had some great experiences on both ends now and really like to pay forward the generosity I have received.

Interests

My hobbies are rock climbing, poi poi, whittling, canoeing, and I tried surfing and loved it!

I also love my work, I'm a outdoor educator and it can sometimes consumes all my time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like Douglas Adams as an author, but I also can't put down comics like the walking dead and Y; the last man.

I really like indie music, fun stuff that will make you dance and move around.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I saw the badlands at Dinosaur Provincial Park in Alberta. That was a great feeling.
Spinning fire for the first time.
The second time I saw Douala, Cameroon, everyone that was with me that day can testify to that.

Teach, Learn, Share

It's hard to say what I can teach to someone. Hard skills I could teach well could be canoeing and poi poi, but I feel young and have so much still to learn.
I feel as though I am a professional at having fun, leading exciting adventures, and organizing activities.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cameroon, Canada, Cuba, Ireland, Netherlands, Nicaragua, United Kingdom, United States
