I am a 34 year old semi-retired, travel addict from the USA. I've traveled extensively through all continents exept Antarctica. My travels have taken me to over 100 countries. Life is short, truly experience and appreciate every moment.

I have been a CS member for eight years. I do not spend much time in the USA or have my own space to offer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My official couchsurfing experience is limited. On my travels I have spent a lot of time "surfing" on countless buses, trains, planes, couches, cars, boats, floors and hostels over the years!

Interessen

Anything related to travel, the outdoors, self reflection, mental awareness, personal development, and writing are my current priorities. I also enjoy hiking, biking, motorcycling, ATV-ing, scuba diving, nature, animals, history, art, books and on and on....

Several "Amazing" things I've done: Experiencing "Live 8" in Hyde Park (England) in 2005; Sailing from Panama to Colombia in 2008; Swimming with alligators and pink river dolphins in Bolivia in 2008; Teaching myself to ride a motorcycle in the Nepali Himalayas in 2008; Scuba Diving Sipidan Island Indonesia in 2011; Attending the 2010 and 2014 World Cups in South Africa and Brasil; Hiking the Pamirs in Central Asia for a month in 2015; Quitting my job in January 2017 for a 4-5 year trip around the World!

Our experiences, family, spiritual leanings, friends, enviornmental contexts, wealth, upbringing, education, ethnicity, books, ideas, etc, make us all different. No one person can possibly be the same. But at this moment, we share the same planet and this moment in time. Something can be learned from all of us. No one has all the answers, just questions needing answering. We must rely on one another to find those answers we seek and to come together to fulfill our own unique life experience.
