About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to travel the world and experience local life & culture in every country I visit...in fact, I want to have so much fun that I'll have nothing left for my 'bucket list' by the time I die ;-P I enjoy every day & everyone around me to the fullest!
ABOUT ME
I'm a natural born wanderer and after almost a decade of trying to be a 'model citizen' with a good job and a 'normal' life, I got frustrated and chucked it all in and left my job. For a while now, I've been spending all my waking hours finding new ways of entertaining and enjoying myself with non-stop travel and partying. I've rediscovered that I never wanted to be a 'working stiff' in a corporate job and was just 'faking it' for all those years :D
Even though I have an education and a brain, I've come to a point in my life where I realized that I want to live happy and not be some corporate drone ever again.
As of October, I'll be living in Prague to certify as an English teacher...and then...????? Can't see myself moving back to the states anytime soon so hope to be here a while, hosting and surfing and having some amazing new experiences!
See you soon! :D
PHILOSOPHY
It's better to seek forgiveness than permission ;-) Live everyday to the fullest and don't *ever* turn down an opportunity. I don't want to have any 'would have, could have, should have' thoughts when I die someday....life is for the living so live it up!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've completed my relocation to Prague and my couch is once-again available for hosting!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had nothing but great experiences through couchsurfing.org, both at a host and surfer....the one thing that I've found is that it's a great forum to find people with similar tastes but different experiences. It's a super unique way to learn more about the world and make connections with great people the world over :D
Interests
I like being outdoors and not hiding in my apartment all the time. I enjoy museums, arts & entertainment, outdoor music concerts, all kinds of sports (I used to play soccer/football on a club team), riding my motorcycle, travel and meeting new people.
I also really enjoy a good beer or a great coffee and sitting to people watch sometimes :-) I try to maintain a general knowledge of several languages and speak them as much as possible with my friends. Spontaneity & Fun are the two things I enjoy most in life....I try to find one moment of pure enjoyment in every day I live and I'm always happy to share that moment with other people!

Music, Movies, and Books
Generally, I try to only watch/read things that stimulate my brain....if a book or movie is truly 'good' it can make you think in new ways and experience the world differently.
Movies - I'm kind of sick of all of the big commercial movies and I'm starting to explore smaller independent films at local city theaters.
Books I've enjoyed are: The Alchemist, The Fountainhead, Three Comrades, The Rum Diary, The Count of Montecristo, The English Patient....
I listen to just about any kind of music and I'm always exploring new stuff...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just a couple of the experiences I've found amazing are:*Attending the Fasching festival in Koln, Germany*Camping on beaches in Tarkankhut & Balaklava, Ukraine*Attending Formula One Grands Prix in Montreal, Canada*Spending a month on the island of Corsica and learning to be a local*Visiting Bansko in the Bulgarian mountains, freezing and totally beautiful!I'll add more as I think of them ;-)
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm happy to teach anybody anything I know but I have no interest in imposing my ideas on anyone....I believe that learning is a life-long pursuit and I'll be learning from people everyday until I die.
For whatever it's worth, although I have business degrees in school I've got a fairly encyclopedic knowledge of car and motorcycle engines and love to work on mechanical problems. Also because I have so many friends (ranging from Electrical Engineers to Restaurant Chefs to Nurses & Airplane pilots) I have a general knowledge base in many areas so I'm sure we'll always have something to talk about if you feel like it ;-)
