About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet new people, have fun, enjoy cultural differences, and learn languages.

ABOUT ME

I speak English, German, a small bit of Spanish, and I can understand a bit of French.

PHILOSOPHY

I think it's important to treat everyone with respect and kindness and give them the benefit of the doubt. I also think there is quite a bit to learn from people of other cultures, languages, philosophies, faiths, and just different people in general.

I personally follow Jesus' teachings of loving others more than yourself and helping out those who aren't as fortunate as you but I also respect anyone who are seeking to love others.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy quite a few movies, different kinds of music, and different books.

I'm really into both folk and electronica music right now. It seems quite the contradiction but I have a varied taste in music.

I'm currently reading through "A Song of Fire and Ice" series while watching the show. I also enjoy "The Walking Dead" and most post-apocalyptic fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in Germany for 3 months during highschool. This was probably one of the most interesting experiences of my life.

I've also hitchhiked across Canada meeting quite a few interesting and different characters from a Winnipeg mother to a Vancouver Metis couple to a truck driver from New Brunswick. I learned quite a bit about people and my home country through that experience.

Now, I'm living in Korea and teaching English. I hope to learn at least a small bit of Korean and learn about Korean culture during my time here.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach German, English, or most things with computers.

I'm looking to learn many different languages or almost anything. I'm also particularly interested in learning about sailing for possible future travel plans...
