About Me

Traveling Europe between July and October 2016.

ABOUT ME

I find different cultures and the personalities that come along with them truly fascinating. I'm defiantly a realist but so to often dream Big, unrealistic and for the best. I believe in treating every day as a day to learn, to be inspired and hopefully inspirer.

In 2012 I encountered the most memorable experiences of my life. It was my first time traveling from my birthplace in Australia. I backpacked through Europe and Africa for 6 months. Traveling truly opened up my eyes and has changed my life significantly. One of my greatest discoveries on this trip was to learn how many awesome people live in this world, and, its not necessarily the places you visit but rather the people in them that counts.

I love meeting new people and sharing stories about life. I try to experience as many things as possible and i am open to new experiences. I believe in making the most of our opportunities and staying positive.

PHILOSOPHY

Keep the smile

When in a position to give- give big

When down; listen to music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have participated in many Couchsurfing gathering events, as well as, surfing many couches throughout Europe and Africa. I'm really keen to host more often, so let me know if your near.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had some great couchsurfing experiences. One hosting and surfing experience has now led to a really good friendship with Cécile from France. I first hosted her in Australia and have since returned twice two France to visit her. I think this is a great example of how couchsurfing can lead to amazing friendships and connect likeminded people in general.

Another experience in Montpellier France was really quite interesting. Our host was a tax evading Dutchman, Tommy, with a fantastic personality and passion for meeting people. As we were soon to learn he was also a Couchsurfing fanatic!!!!! On one particular night we unexpectedly slept with 9 other couch-surfers in an area no bigger than a small bathroom. They just kept coming in off the streets, it was amazing. Funnily, everyone was of a different Nationality, so communication was interesting.:)
