ABOUT ME

30 year old from England, bitten by the travelling bug when I visited Kenya and stayed with a local family back when I was 18. I have returned 3 times since. I also visited SE Asia for six months and the middle east last summer.

I love meeting new people from new cultures to share experiences and shoot the breeze over a drink or a meal.

Hope to meet as many friendly people as possible in the future.

People always seem to say "hope to meet like minded people" well I hope to meet all people, if they are not like minded, I hope to learn and understand different points of view, life would be pretty dull if we all thought and acted the same, vive la difference

Eat, sleep, drink, chat, sleep and along the way make as many friends and learn as many things from each of them as I can. Focus on the good in everyone and view the negative as having no final reality and ultimately illusion.

Have hosted a couple of people and they have returned the favour this was before I realised such a site existed and now I hope to be a regular in this community - a great experience and one I am keen to continue. I have surfer in Lebanon and Syria and hosted a few people back in London

Travel obviously, music - all genres within reason, football, long walks, poetry, novels - reading and writing, films, philosopy, meeting weird and wonderful new peoples.

Stayed with a local family on three occasions in Kenya doing charity work. Travelling SE Asia and looking to the future.

Ran a kids club for 200+ kids in Kakamega Kenya.

Spent Christmas with a local family in the mountains of Northern Vietnam
