ABOUT ME

Matt and Christine are a couple, we are what you might call "young professionals." We have put our professional lives on hold and are traveling the world at a leisurely pace. Matt works part time as we travel doing computer related work. Our goal is to have a sincere and authentic travel experience, getting to know the people in the places we stay, and making friends along the way!

We are laid back, self sufficient, clean, independent, fun loving, and respectful of people's space. We are both athletic/active and love doing anything outdoors. We are both nonsmokers. We appreciate and treasure any time our hosts spend with us, but don't expect it (i.e. you don't need to move your schedule around for us, we're very adaptable to any situation).

Christine just finished a teaching program in O´Higgins region in Chile, and now we plan on traveling to the South of Chile!

Interests

Reading, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, running (we did our first full marathon last year, yeay), snorkeling, kayaking, pilates, watching movies. Going to live music performances. Going to art and historical museums. Sightseeing in general. Attempting to meditate. Going out dancing. Generally spending time outdoors or being athletic.

Teach, Learn, Share

We always try to help where we can when we stay with hosts. So, if we stay with you, don't hesitate to let us know if there's an area we can help with (chores around the house, etc.). I don't want to get your hopes up and say that we're amazing at it, but we do attempt to make food for our hosts as well, if they are keen to try our concoctions.

Christine knows some pilates moves (probably enough for beginners) and is happy to share what she knows.
