ABOUT ME

I'm all about bicycles, I love to go on group rides, build freak bikes, play bike polo, and help others learn about bikes. I finished a 7 month bike tour around the US and central America in April 2011.Home is alaska in summer to work on my log cabin & garden/orchard thing at a sustainable land project my brother and I have been working on the last few years. I Enjoy living off the grid without bills, minimal solar electricity, rain water collection and wild foods. Now I am traveling by bike to Mexico and elsewhere for the winter.

PHILOSOPHY

I truly think most people are good people, there is just a few who create so much injustice for so many.

I am totally down for the mission. I am all about free space and host as many travellers I can myself. Also making travelling easier, cheaper, and more accessible for low income folks like myself is awesome.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Biked 200 miles in 14 hours straight for the fireweed bike race. Rafted through Grand Canyon 3 times!

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I am a pretty good cook, home brewer, cheese maker. I can do some woodworking, blacksmithing, sustainable building (stone masonry, log building, cob/adobe, cordwood, hay bale), bike mechanics, boating (canoeing, rafting, Kayak), ice/rock climbing, Archery, flintknapping, hunting/fishing, leather working.
