About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To enjoy the good life, laughing, drinking, eating, dancing, singing.

ABOUT ME

I am an outgoing, fun loving, carefree type of person. Although I've been a web developer for 10 years and had to work with geeks, this profession doesn't suit my personality and so I've decided to explore South America a little before I decide what to do next.

I have a love of tango dancing and music and can't wait to spend time in Buenos Aires. I love food, eating and cooking, and enjoy nothing more than fine food, wine or beer, along with other outgoing people.

PHILOSOPHY

Try everything once, you never know you might like it.

If you do like it, then work very hard to become the best at it you possibly can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only recently been introduced to CS by a friend after I told them I was going traveling, so initially my involvement is going to be solely couch surfing. However, once I return to the UK and return to employment I will open the doors to my house to allow other travelers enjoy what I hope to experience.

Interests

Dancing, but in particular Tango. I have become hooked on this amazing art form.

I like football and sports in general but I'm not a football bore!

I'm also very interested in the process of making beer and would like to set up my own brewery one day to make traditional English ales.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love to watch films and listen to music.

I'm not really a fan of Hollywood blockbusters, but prefer smaller budget independent art house films.

My music taste ranges from British rock & roll to American Soul, Tango, Salsa and classical. With lots in between. Pretty eclectic really.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to Igauzu which was pretty cool.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can obviously help people with English language skills, but also may offer IT help, PHP programming and web development skills, and could probably teach some basic tango.
